Chapter 2: Factions

A news broadcast is heard, “The destroyed oil rig was stationed some several years ago. Not too long before the huge speculated government covers began.  The rig was almost completely cut off from civilization. There are many people still missing, our hearts go out to their families.”


We see Spikes face, he is still sleep, suddenly a voice wakes him, “hey, human, get up. You life is at stake, wake up!”
Spike suddenly wakes up he sits up, “what?”
He looks to his left to see a big robot sitting near him. The robot is green and yellow, he is towering over Spike a bit.
“Finally awake human, you must know this, what you do from this point will decide your survival.”
Spike, “what is going on?”
Robot, “long story short, my people are dying we need your help for survival.”
Spike, “what can I do?”
Robot, “one thing, if you refuse your father dies.”
Spike looking worried, “My, dad? What, what is it?”

Robot, “I must mate with you, you are small but I can make it work.”
Spike looking scared, “ what...did…you say?”
Robot, standing up, “well human, will you mate with me or what?”
Spike just as this dumb founded and worried look on his face and then hears laughter.
The laughter is coming form behind him.
Soon the robot begins to laugh too.
Sparkplug comes form behind the robot completely safe, with his work cloths and hardhat on.
Spike, “Dad?!”
Sparkplug laughing a little, “ sorry son, it was Brawn’s idea. That was sweet though you would consider making that kind of sacrifice for your dear old dad.”
Spike getting up and pushing his dad a little, “yeah whatever, what you guys old friends now, you gonna get place together?”
Brawn, “okay okay, let’s go to the front, big boss  is gonna want to talk to you. You have questions and he is always good at the whole story telling thing.”

In another location we see what looks to be military installation hidden amongst a jungle. At closer examination we see graffiti like Decepticon symbols on buildings and Cybertronian writing as well.

Starscream’s voice(note: it is similar to the cartoon voice of the 80’s), “what the hell was that Soundwave? You said that we would go unnoticed, and the Autobots were scattered on the other side of the earth!”

We see Star scream with his jet troops standing behind him as he is yelling at Soundwave whom has his own troops with him including ravage, which is snarling at Starscream.
Soundwave, “It was an unseen occurrence, could not be predicted.”

Starscream, “whatever, this is exactly why I should be your leader as well!”
Soon a huge tank rolls up and points it’s cannon at Starscream.
Everyone moves back from Starscream, while Starscream turns and looks at the Tank.
Tank, “what was that star punk, your not the leader here. This is our base, you and Soundwave are lucky you could bring your teams here.”
He transforms, as he does a train rolls up as well and transforms beside him. They both are a bit larger than Starscream. The tank is grey and yellow with wings on his back, the train is dark colored purple and grey with wings as well.
“isn’t that right Astrotrain?”
Astrotrain, “damn right,Blitzwing.”
Soundwave, “we should ally to destroy the Decepticons. We have separated our forces. My team is Intel, while you have the heavy weapons and Starscream has the majority of the air power.”
Blitzwing, “you make sense except I am not following that sorry excuse for a Decepticon, it was your idea to reformat him. I think you left some parts out!”
Several yellow deception cons interrupt. First yellow Decepticon, “hey watch your mouth, Soundwave saved a lot of you, you owe him.”
Starscream, “yes, and he owes you, you are the one that brought him back first, true? You made it here after everything was over and found Soundwave’s remains, you chose him out of everyone, even our fearless ex leader. Isn‘t that right Constructicons?”
Astrotrain, “hmm, I think it’s time for everyone to leave. The Combaticons have all of you surrounded and they are getting rest less.”
Starscream, “whatever, so primitive, until next time Soundwave.”
They all transform and depart, the jets fly off and the Constructicons and some others fly the opposite direction.

As they all fly off the triple changers begin to walk away, until a rustle of metal comes form behind them.

They both turn around, several Combaticons are tossed out at their feet. They both prepare for what ever it is, by bringing their weapons out.

Scene change.
Spike, “your giant transforming robots from outer space.”
He begin to laugh a little.
We see many Autobots around Spike and his Sparkplug. Optimus is in front of the two humans. They appear to be in a huge room with a extremely large monitor.
Optimus, “You find this humorous?”
Spike, “no, I find this, awesome!”
Sparkplug, “so Mister Prime…”
Optimus, “you can just call me Optimus or prime, Sparkplug.”
Sparkplug continues, “okay Optimus…you know my brother and nephew Sam?”
Iron hide(whom is red with black now and resembles his 80’s look, “yeah we know them, Sam is a friend to us.”
Ratchet, “A true warrior, well in his own way, I suppose.”
Spike, “Sam is a great guy, but I bet he was screaming the whole way. That ain’t me.”
Everyone is quiet for a moment.
Bumblebee(whom is more black than yellow now) steps forward.
Optimus, “I know Bumble Bee, Starscream is known to have a vendetta against the Whitwickys sense…”
A voice form an orange and grey Autobot, “Sam killed his Decepticon ass.”
Everyone looks at the smaller bot.
Sparkplug, “wow, Sam killed a transformer?”
Optimus, “Technically he killed two, Megatron and Starscream on separate occasions.”
Spike, “impressive.”
Optimus, “as I continue, you two need to be protected, now that Starscream knows about you. We have covered any means for any transformer Decepticon or otherwise to track Sam and his family. You two on the other hand.”
Ironhide, “every Autobot here has volunteered to protect you, we can’t spare everyone so, you two have to pick your protectors.”


Sparkplug, “well what exactly are you guys, I mean what kind of cars? We can’t just show up in a tank or something.”
Optimus, “you have a point, but even thought they all volunteered no one wants to argue with the decided protector.”
Bumble bee walks up to the Whitwickys then transforms in his car mode.
Spike, “awesome. wait, but we don’t really have a home to go to right now? We been at see for years, we gave the house up and everything.”
Jazz, “that’s no thing, rest here for a few until you do. I mean is it’s okay with you Optimus Prime.”
Optimus, “well, it is the safest location, how do you feel about this Sparkplug?”
Sparkplug, “well, I guess we got no choice. It shouldn’t take me long to find a good place though. Besides this place is amazing, I could really get lost.”
 We see the ocean then deep within the ocean. It is the remains of the huge ship that was chasing the Autobots millions of years ago.
Inside we see it has been turned into a base of operations for the Decepticons.
Starscream is sitting a huge chair that appears to have been the Captain’s chair on the bridge.
Starscream, “ Soundwave had a point, together we are strong but apart…”
Thundercracker walks in, “So what are we gonna do, bring all the factions together or share leadership with Soundwave?”
“Starscream stands up, “neither, I am the rightful leader of all Decepticons, they will come to realize this after we conquer them. Prepare everyone Thundercracker, we start as soon as possible.”
In the Autobots HQ.
Spike is sitting inside a vehicle and writing, “Hey why do you guys transform into cars and things anyway.?”
Now seeing that he is sitting inside Bumble bee, whom is in a convertible mode with the top down. He cranks up and drives down a corridor where several other Autobots are. Hound, mirage, and Wheelie.
Hound, “hey spike, what’s up?”
Spike, getting out of Bumble bee,” well I asked Bumble Bee why you guys turn into cars and things.”
Wheelie, “well it beats walking everywhere, I tell you that. Pip squeak,”
Spike, “uhm okay, well how do you do it? Does it hurt or feel weird?”
Hound, “we do it like this.”
He transforms to his green Military Hummer mode.
“nah, it doesn’t hurt. It’s just like when you humans sit down or walk, it’s just something we do.”
Spike, “incredible”
Hound, “that’s not all.”
Suddenly a man appears in the driver’s seat of Hound.
Spike, “whoa, where did he come from, How did he get here?”
Hound, “it’s just a hologram, we can all do this one for disguise reasons. But holograms are my specialty, so I can do a bit more.”
Mirage, “you like that Spike? Check this out, now you see me…”
He vanishes as a many small cursors of light seem to erase him.
Spike, “whoa, now that’s amazing! Where are you?”
Mirage reappears on the other side of the huge room, “right here Spike.”
Spike, “you guys, are full of tricks.”
Now we see Ratchet in another part of the base, with Sparkplug. Everything in the base is made for Transformer size inhabitants.
Sparkplug is on a scaffold, watching Ratchet work on something laid across a table.
Ratchet, “so I got a question for you. I know the other set of Whitwickys, Sam especially and even though your similar…”
Sparkplug, “Spike is nothing like Sam huh? Well they have the same name you know? Thing is me and his Dad were a bit competitive, we both promised to be the first to have a son and name him after our father.”
Ratchet, “really, so who won?”
Sparkplug, “well, we chose different paths in life. I work with my hands and it lead me to different parts of the world. We were out of contact that year our sons were born. When it comes down to it, I love my brother and that’s enough.”
Ratchet, “I know what you mean.”
He picks up a huge tool and shows it to Sparkplug, “this belongs to my brother, hopefully you will meet him soon.”
Sparkplug, “It would be an honor.”
Cliffjumper, “sorry to interrupt this inter species soap opera, but Prime said it’s a go for the mission Ratchet, you leave soon as possible.”
Ratchet, begins to walk off with Cliff Jumper, “well I shall leave you for now, I have to go”
Sparkplug, “tell your brother I said hello.”
He walks off after looking at back at Sparkplug, “will do.”

Soon we see Ratchet, Mirage, Bumble Bee, and wheelie. They are all in front of Optimus Prime. Behind Prime is Ironhide, Cliff Jumper, a yellow and black Autobot, a red and black Autobot, and Jazz.
“This mission of great importance, you are to trace the signal of our brothers. Find them assist them and bring them home. Both teams standing with me have the same mission, but team two..”
He turns to face Ironhide and the others.
“your mission takes you to coordinates that include getting pass a Decepticon faction headquarters. It will be very dangerous, even without their truer leader they are dangerous. For now they only strike in small separate fronts. This may bring them all out as one.”
Spike steps out from the side, “so you saying, if you go get you friends, you may be responsible for bringing your worst enemies back together. Maybe even starting up the war you fought hard to end?”
Optimus Prime, “yes, it is a hard decision to make as a leader.”
Spike, “well sounds like a no brainer to me. Go get your family back, no matter what.”
Optimus, “everyone transform.”
Everyone transforms, when this happens Spike runs and gets into the red Lamborghini beside the yellow Lamborghini.
Spike, “I’m going too, I need to get outta here.”
Sunstreaker, “Hey kid, I’m not Bumble Bee, I ain’t no babysitter.”
Spike, “good cause I don’t need one.”
Sparkplug, “it’s no use fighting with that kid.”
He yells, “Hey you, my boy better come back alive!”
Sunstreaker to Spike, whom is in the passenger seat, “now see what you did, Now I got that hanging over my head.”
Spike, “whatever, I can take care of myself.”
Sunstreaker, “yeah yeah, I hope you wiped your feet before you got in. If not you owe me a full detailing.”
Optimus, “okay everyone, be careful and rollout.”
